Abstract:

Polypoidal choroidal vasculopathy (PCV) is characterized by the presence of polypoidal lesions with or without a branching vascular network on indocyanine green angiography (ICGA). Clinical features of PCV include persistent recurrence and subretinal hemorrhage. The current treatment is still challenging. Recently, optical coherence tomography angiography has demonstrated a higher sensitivity to monitor PCV recurrence than conventional SD-OCT.(Int Rev Ophthalmol,  2017,  41: 159-165)
