Abstract:

The surgery is the main management for cataracts. The increasing pursuit of cataracts in spectacle independence and visual acuity at an intermedia distance after surgery pushed forword the appearance of trifocal intraocular lens designed by providing three optical focus, which improved intermediate vision without impairing distance and near vision and provided continuous vision for all three distances in the aspects of visual acuity, defocus curve, and contrast sensitivity, which improved the postoperative quality of vision in the cataract patients.
