摘要: 糖尿病视网膜病变是糖尿病的致盲性眼部并发症,其确切发病机制尚不清楚。糖基化终末产物(advanced gycation end products,AGE)与糖基化终末产物受体(receptor for AGE,RAGE)相互作用诱导氧化应激,促进炎症反应以及新生血管的形成,在糖尿病及其并发症的病理生理过程中起重要作用。因此,抑制AGE形成及其交联和阻断AGE与其受体相互作用可能延缓糖尿病视网膜病变的进展。本文就AGE形成、AGERAGE系统在DR中的作用和其药物治疗等进行综述。

Abstract:  Diabetic retinopathy (DR) is a progressive visionthreatening complication of diabetes mellitus, but its exact pathogenic mechanism is still less clear.The interactions of advanced gycation end products (AGEs) with its recptor (RAGE) induce the oxidative stress, vascular inflammation response, and predispose angiogenesis, all of which play essential roles in diabetic vascular complications.Therefore, inhibition of AGEs formation, blockade of AGEs crosslink and interaction of AGEs with RAGE may postpone the progression of DR.The article mainly sumarrizes the relationship between AGEs-RAGE system and DR, and the drug therapy of DR.
