摘要: 碱性成纤维细胞生长因子(basic fibroblast growth factor,bFGF)是一种在眼内如晶状体上皮细胞、小梁网细胞、视网膜色素上皮细胞等广泛存在的多功能信号分子,在基础研究中主要发挥保护细胞、促进细胞增生,维持干细胞特性的作用,目前在眼科临床上常用于角膜炎、角膜上皮缺损、角膜溃疡、角膜手术术后以及干眼的治疗。bFGF能促进角膜缘微环境细胞的增生,在角膜缘干细胞缺乏症的干细胞治疗中发挥一定作用。但具体作用机制尚不明确,需要进一步研究。(国际眼科纵览,2022, 46:409-414)

Abstract: Basic fibroblast growth factor (bFGF) is a multifunctional signal molecule widely existing in the eye, such as lens epithelial cells, trabecular meshwork cells, retinal pigment epithelial cells and so on. It mainly plays a role in protecting cells, promoting cell proliferation and maintaining the characteristics of stem cells in basic research. At present, it is commonly used in the treatment of keratitis, corneal epithelial defect, corneal ulcer, corneal surgery and dry eye. bFGF plays a role in the stem cell therapy of limbal stem cell deficiency because it can promote the proliferation of limbal niche cells. But the specific mechanism is not clear and needs further research.(Int Rev Ophthalmol, 2022, 46: 409-414)
