Abstract: Lifelong follow-up is necessary for glaucoma patients. It is critical to manage glaucoma as a chronic disease. At present, there are different management strategies for glaucoma patients worldwide. In developed countries, hierarchical diagnosis and treatment system and supporting education are adopted to improve patients' treatment compliance.
