Research team teaching in ophthalmology is a task-oriented teaching method of ophthalmology, aiming to improve the research capacity of an academic research team. Every team member is encouraged to participate, and his role is rotated between teaching and learning. The teaching content is settled around the research project of ophthalmology, including experimental method, relevant theoretical knowledge, and project progression and quality control. Several forms of teaching-learning methods are included, such as one to one or one to many training, group meeting, reading club, and salon. Through those learning process, team members can develop their abilities needed for specific project, including the innovation ability, analyzing and problem-solving ability, thereby enhance the research efficiency and core competitiveness of the ophthalmological team.
